I’m pleased to share that my painting “A New Vision” was featured at Breath. Heart. Spirit - an exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Ontario Society of Artists. The exhibition is at Queen’s Park and my painting is featured in the Governor General’s suite.

I’m pleased to share that I’ve won second prize in Colour and Form Society’s 69th Annual Open Juried Exhibition for my piece Connecting to Mother Earth (acrylic on canvas).
The selected artwork for the CFS 69th Annual Open Juried Exhibition will appear on www.colourandformsociety.org on October 1. It will appear under the menu tab Exhibitions – Current Exhibition.

Feature in The Umbrellatorium in Lost Museum Exhibit
The Lost Museum is an engaging, interactive digital site celebrating art, performance through the themes of “Lost,” introducing viewers to unknown works inhabiting the Small Arms Inspection Building (SAIB). The Lost Museum is filled with stories, short films, interactive gaming, digital features, original artwork, curated collections, and special performances by Mississauga’s creative communities.
Artist Raheel Patel has worked with and been inspired by umbrellas for many years. Artist Jaya Datta has contributed two umbrella pieces featured in Patels’s Umbrellatorium exhibit featured on TheLostMuseum.ca

Just in time for the holiday season, the new Holiday Arts Boutique launches a brand new online showcase for creatives, with over 400 original gifts for the season.
“The Holiday Arts Boutique provides a platform for people hungry to find original, locally made gifts and artworks,” says Mike Douglas, Executive Director of MAC “this is a fun exploration for great gifts, while supporting hard-hit local creatives.”

The 2020 Social Distancing Exhibition is a testament to the power of the visual arts and its inherent ability to bring people together, even when they are forced to be physically and socially distanced. The exhibition will feature art from 292 international artists. Exhibition runs online from April 1 - 30, 2020.
